Students compete in statewide Ethics Bowl hosted at RC

Roanoke’s two teams had good showings. Much of the talk at the event centered around an amazing performance by freshman Sophie Kachur, who won two rounds by herself when her teammates were out sick.

Fifteen Roanoke students are interning in Washington now. Three who were assigned to shuttered government agencies volunteered at nonprofits providing food for furloughed workers until they could begin their internship.
