With images of the college seal and the administration building, the ring is also a physical link to the years you spent here and the bonds that you created.
A class ring is a perfect way to symbolize your prestige as a student of Roanoke College. All students who have completed at least 16 academic units may purchase and wear an official Roanoke College class ring.

How can I order a Roanoke College class ring?
Our partners at Balfour will schedule on-campus ring events each semester to provide students the opportunity to view ring samples, ask questions and place orders. You can also visit their website at https://www.balfour.com/roanoke
Who can purchase a Roanoke College class ring?
Any student who has completed at least 16 academic units with the College has earned the right to become part of a storied Roanoke College tradition to purchase and wear an official Roanoke College class ring.
Can alumni of Roanoke College purchase a class ring?
Yes, alumni are welcome to purchase a class ring at any time.
If I purchase a class ring, when do I receive it?
The Roanoke College Class Rings are traditionally given out at a special ceremony each year. Students who purchase a ring will get an invitation to this event once it is scheduled. If the ceremony is postponed or canceled, class rings will be mailed to the address used during the ordering process.
Alumni who decide to purchase a ring can request to pick it up on campus during Alumni Weekend or have it mailed to them directly.
What happens if I am not on campus in the fall?
We recommend that students who will not be on campus in the fall participate in the Ring Ceremony the following year, if possible. If a senior purchases a ring and is off-campus at the time of the ring ceremony, they can contact the Office of Alumni & Family Relations in order to coordinate how best to receive the ring.
Is there a deadline to order my class ring?
Ring orders take about 6 to 8 weeks to be processed. The deadline to order for a ceremony will vary based on when the event is scheduled to take place. Communication about ring purchase deadlines will be shared via email with students. Rings purchased by alumni will be shipped directly to the address provided during the ordering process.
How do I know what my ring size is?
The best option for sizing is to visit the Balfour representatives when they are on campus. If you are unable to visit in person, you can use the instructions listed here: Ring sizing guide
How many styles of rings are available?
There are eight total styles, with four traditionally for men and four traditionally for women. You can see the styles available by clicking here.
What design is able to go on the sides of the ring?
The sides can contain your degree letters, graduation year date, or be left completely untouched. An engraving can also be added on the inside of the rings to make it more customized.
What if something is wrong with my ring after I get it?
