Competitive Scholarship Programs

  • Fellows Program

    $500 per year for interviewing

    Being a part of the Fellows Program puts you amongst a community of faculty and staff mentors and other highly motivated students in an environment of empowerment and opportunity. 

  • Honors Program

    $500 per year for attending an event

    Honors student

    Our Honors Program is designed for students who want to challenge themselves in and outside of the classroom. 

  • Art Scholarships

    Up to $2,500 per year

    Students at a gallery

    We want to support you if you are passionate about art and have a range of skills. Apply for this art scholarship by sending us samples of your work and a 250-word statement.  

  • Music Performance Scholarships

    Up to $2,500 per year

    Spring concert students

    Be recognized for performance talents. You can audition for this scholarship for participating in the RC Choir, Marching Band, Wind Ensemble or Jazz Ensemble.

  • Theatre Art Scholarships

    Up to $2,500 per year

    RC play

    We want to support you if you are passionate about theatre and have a range of skills. Apply by sending us a resume, a 250-word statement and an optional portfolio of 4 to 6 images of your best work.

*Once a comprehensive financial aid package has been presented, the inclusion of additional Roanoke College funds may alter your Roanoke College Supplemental Grant (if previously awarded).
