Dr. Moe, associate professor of music from 1968-1996, was the first person to play the Casavant pipe organ when it was originally installed in 1970 during the dedication of the newly constructed Antrim Chapel.

Since 1993, the history department has annually celebrated the first president of Roanoke College, David F. Bittle, with a Founder’s Day celebration on or around his birthday on November 19^th.

Welcome to our 582 new Roanoke College freshman and 54 transfer students. These new Maroons represent 28 states and include six class valedictorians. 

Roanoke partners with the city of Salem for a community lip sync.

Roanoke College is taking nominations for the 22^nd annual Charles Brown award. This award is given to a Salemite who has impacted the Salem community in positive ways. Nominations are accepted until Aug. 10.

Formerly known as Allegheny Hall, the residence hall overlooking Roanoke's Maroon Athletic Quad will be renamed as Beamer Hall later this year. This will mark the first building on Roanoke's campus to be named for a woman. 

The third annual Basically Tarantino Film Festival and awards presentation occurred at the Grandin Theatre on Tuesday, April 17th.

The inaugural Maroon Connections: Alumni Career Fair will take place on Thursday, April 12, the week of alumni weekend, on the main floor of the Colket Center.
