Young Adults in Global Mission, sponsored by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, sends college graduates ages 21 to 29 around the world for various kinds of service. 

From Thailand to England, students traveled to 10 different countries during May Term.

Eight Roanoke students are living and studying in Yucatan, Mexico, for the College's first semester abroad course.  

Roanoke College and Hollins University celebrated an important anniversary year in a unique way. In February, Roanoke and Hollins students gathered at Feeding America SWVa to package food items for needy families. 

Through the Toys Like Me drive, Roanoke students are delivering special toys to hearing impaired children at Virginia Heights Elementary School in Roanoke and to patients at Roanoke's Carilion Children's Hospital. The project grew out of a May term class by Prof. Frances Bosch '99. 

New Roanoke students, Habitat staff and volunteers will build sections of the house on campus before transporting it to Loudon Avenue in Roanoke, its permanent address.
