Welcome to our 582 new Roanoke College freshman and 54 transfer students. These new Maroons represent 28 states and include six class valedictorians. 

Students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to two Roanoke College sponsored events in downtown Roanoke in late August.

Olivia Streett is the 10th Roanoke College student to receive the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. She will study in Leipzig, Germany this fall with the Roanoke program led by Dr. Robert Willingham.

This fall, the café in Fintel Library will be managed and operated by Roanoke College Dining Services. The eatery will have a new menu with coffee beverage options, pastries, salad and sandwiches - and a new name.

Maggie Fitzgerald, a senior honors student from Medway, Massachusetts, has received a Fulbright award to teach English in Oviedo, a city in northern Spain.

The Student Organization and Leadership Awards for the 2017-2018 school year are given in recognition of the leaders and organizations that demonstrate excellence in their fields and disciplines across campus. 

The third annual Basically Tarantino Film Festival and awards presentation occurred at the Grandin Theatre on Tuesday, April 17th.

This year's Alumni Weekend brings the usual fare as well as some new additions, including an alumni/student networking event, social media ambassador reception, family karaoke night, a rite of remembrance and the first annual Noke Hour.
