Student-Managed Fund Surpasses $1,000,000

The Student-Managed Fund (BUAD 322) has been a course offering at Roanoke College every semester since 2004. The class challenges Roanoke students to use their skills, innovation, and teamwork to responsibly grow a real investment portfolio. The initial $500,000 investment has more than doubled and is now worth more than $1,000,000.

RC Physics Group travels to the totality as eclipse ambassadors

Roanoke College Physics Group is serving as eclipse ambassadors Monday, Aug. 21 at Great Smoky Mountains National Park, an official NASA partner site for the solar eclipse, and on the RoanokeCollege SnapChat. No specific events are planned on campus but a limited number of eclipse glasses will be available for the campus community at noon Monday.
