Roanoke College is featured in season 12 of The College Tour, a series available on Amazon Prime.  Hosted by Emmy-nominated reality TV star Alex Boylan, the 30-minute episode showcases what life is like at Roanoke to help students and families "visit" colleges across the country. Explore campus life at Roanoke as students share their experiences in their own words.

    Hometown: Warrenton, VA

    Hear from Abby about Roanoke's PLACE (Purpose, Life and Career Exploration) and its role in her career development, her achievements such as internships and work in gender health, and how PLACE assists students in finding their post-graduation purpose.

  • Major: Computer Science
    Hometown: Johannesburg, South Africa

    Mahaan talks about Roanoke's housing offerings, including his current dorm, and his upcoming options in future years. He also showcases the variety of dining choices available on campus.

  • Major: Business Administration
    Hometown: Carrabassett Valley, Maine

    Sophomore Business Administration major Bryana talks about being a member of Roanoke's Honors Program, as well as her involvement in the college's diverse clubs, plus her research project in sustainable investing, a part of the college's wide-ranging research opportunities.

    Senior Sport Management and Business major Evan, a student-athlete member of Roanoke's Men's Soccer team, talks about the college's long-standing traditions, such as Fridays on the Quad, the campus seal superstition, and the 100 Days event for seniors, and how these traditions foster a sense of family and strong connections within the campus community.

    Freshman Public Health and Sociology double major Allison talks about her journey of finding her purpose and choosing a major at Roanoke. She highlights the college's commitment to student success and its innovative Intellectual Inquiry Curriculum (INQ). Her involvement in research, theatre and clubs showcases the diverse opportunities available at Roanoke for skills development and future success.

    Freshman Spanish and Screen Studies double major Lolo, an international student from Vietnam, talks about Roanoke's extensive Study Abroad Program and her plans to take part, and how the college's tight-knit community and its International Office provided a strong support network for students like her, to help everyone succeed.
