“Triumph of Hope,” a documentary about three Roanoke Valley residents who were hidden children of the Holocaust
Teresa Gereaux, gereaux@roanoke.edu false MM/DD/YYYY“Triumph of Hope” was directed and produced by Roanoke College alumnus Steve Mason ’91, owner of Red Velocity Inc., and sponsored in part by Trustee Joanne Leonhardt Cassullo ’78 and her foundation, the Dorothea L. Leonhardt Foundation. It tells the powerful true story of Helga Morrow, Regine Archer and the late Arye Ephrath, three Roanoke residents who settled in the Roanoke area after surviving the Holocaust as hidden children. It also features highlights from a question-and-answer session with the film subjects and Roanoke College students.
