Experiential Learning
Internships
You can expand your knowledge and skill sets in the fields of mathematics, computer science and physics through internship experiences off campus. Job experience looks great on your resume, and can clarify your choice of professions. Many students have received job offers from the companies with which they intern.

Fellow positions have been approved in mathematics, computer science and physics. Link to the program description.
Independent study
Independent studies provide students with a practical application of their particular majors or more specialized study in a particular area. Projects are developed with a faculty sponsor and course credit is received for successful completion of the project. Independent study research can lead to acceptance in off-campus programs, and are an important piece of graduate school applications.
May Term
