All residential students will receive an email in mid-August (early January for spring semester move in) with instructions for move in. In the email, students will sign up for a move in time. Students should consult with their parents about what time they wish to arrive. The time slots start at 8 am and continue to 2 pm. If you have a 5 hour or less drive, you might sign up for an afternoon time slot. If you have an extended drive, you might sign up for an earlier time slot. No orientation programs will begin before move in is complete. Move in will take place in the lower Olin parking lot off of Peery Drive and Thompson Memorial Drive.
Should you need to remain on campus during winter break when the residence halls are closed, you must submit a break stay form. Housing does NOT close for fall break, Thanksgiving break, or spring break. For these three break periods students are not charged extra to stay on campus.
