PURPOSE & SCOPE: Designed to encourage and assist a faculty member in curriculum development without a complete cessation of teaching. It is comparable to a Faculty Research Semester, except that released time is spent on course development rather than on a research project. Grentees are given a one-course reduction in teaching load for one semester and are expected to devote that time to their course development. They are released from all committee and student advising assignments and from all departmental assignments except teaching.
PERSONS ELIGIBLE: Full-time members of the teaching faculty of the College
