Did you know that PLACE resources are available for alumni use even after graduation? If you are job-searching or seeking assistance with next steps, PLACE is here to help. To request an appointment with a staff member, email place@roanoke.edu, providing your name, graduation year, and the specific way that we can assist you.  
 
Job Searching on Handshake 
 
In 2020, we transitioned our job posting site, MaroonNet, to Handshake. A nationwide job-posting site designed for college students and recent graduates, the Handshake platform hosts entry-level opportunities from employers across the country.  
 
Alumni who graduated in 2020 or later and still have access to their Roanoke College email will be able to log in to Handshake using their college email and password.

Alumni who graduated before 2020 or who no longer have access to their Roanoke College emails should fill out the Handshake access request form to let us know how we can best assist.

Are you interested in partnering with PLACE in assisting undergraduate students in preparation for life after Roanoke? Join our Maroon Mentor Program where you can provide job shadowing/career mentoring experiences, internships, or job opportunities to students as they define their career path.
