Roanoke Athletic News: Lacrosse, baseball honors and more

The Maroons wrapped up the 2018-2019 season with winning records, championships, honors and more. Some recent highlights:

Roanoke College men's lacrosse standouts Ian Davies and Jason Sarro have been named All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.

Roanoke College track student-athletes Mara Briggs and Jennifer Calascione have both been named All-South/Southeast Region for the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Roanoke baseball's Kevin Ledford has been named All-South Region by D3baseball.com.

Women’s lacrosse athletes Katie Clements, Emerson Foster and Jenn Schwechheimer, who were all named First-Team All-ODAC earlier this month, were also named Second-Team All-Chesapeake Region by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association.
