COVID-19 Update for Monday, March 16
March 16, 2020
Information Technology Resources for Remote Learning
Information Technology is working hard to help faculty and students be ready for the start of online classes this week. IT created a page of resources to help students in this transition.
https://www.roanoke.edu/it/resources .
The IT Help Desk offers phone-in computer support from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday - Friday (540) 375-2225. Submit a ticket online anytime at support.roanoke.edu (when prompted, log in using your MyRoanoke username and password)
Getting Ready for Classes
Students are encouraged to create a home work space for studying, class work and computer time. It may be helpful for students to establish your own class hours and work hours to keep focused on academic studies.
Dining Services
A reminder to students who have approval to stay on campus -- your meal plan covers your meals during this time so you are not charged extra.
