Dr. Martha Kuchar, professor of English, had the honor recently of serving on a Fulbright national committee to screen student applications for Fulbright’s ETA program. Kuchar traveled to the Institute of International Education (IIE) in Washington, D.C. for the meeting of the committee for Fulbright U.S. Student English Language Teaching Assistantships. She and other specialists and authorities in various fields reviewed applications and recommended candidates for further consideration. Kuchar has been appointed to a three year term of service.
Kuchar is quite familiar with the Fulbright program. She has received two Fulbright Scholar awards herself: to Moldova in 2015-16 and to Ukraine in 2009-2010.
