Students see world through May Term travel courses
June 21, 2016

China. India. Vietnam. Mexico. Spain. France. Sri Lanka. Germany. England.
Roanoke students visited nine countries for 12 different travel courses - both international and in the United States - this past May.
The three-to-four week Intensive Learning classes took students to China to study business, London to examine contemporary British theatre, India to explore culture and conservation of animals, Vietnam to practice travel writing and more.
Some classes also traveled stateside. Students visited Hawaii to analyze ancient Hawaiian society, culture and history and New Mexico, Texas and Colorado to learn about the history of the National Park Service and explore many of the parks themselves.
See glimpses of their adventures in the gallery below.
