From Meghan Jester, director of career exploration
As part of our commitment to supporting career readiness and lifelong success, we’re excited to share recent updates from Roanoke College’s PLACE, the Center for Purpose, Life, and Career Exploration. Each month, we’ll provide highlights from the bi-weekly PLACE post emails, giving you a glimpse into the resources, events, and opportunities available to students on their career journeys.
PLACE is wrapping up a busy fall semester engaging students through individual appointments, class presentations, and workshops. We will kick off the New Year with Launch Lab for graduating seniors. Our Spring Job and Internship Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, February 19th. Contact us at place@roanoke.edu if your organization is interested in recruiting on campus! Alumni engagement continues to be strong, with recent graduates and seasoned professionals alike connecting with students for mentorship and career guidance through Meet a Maroon. These ongoing efforts reinforce our community’s dedication to fostering career growth and purpose-driven exploration.
