Behind-the-scenes at Theatre Roanoke College's winter production
February 24, 2017
Roanoke College students are stars this weekend for Theatre Roanoke College's production of the award-winning play, "Circle Mirror Transformation," by Annie Baker.
The play, winner of the 2010 Obie Award for Best New American Play, follows four New Englanders as they participate in a local acting class.
Roanoke's Olin Theater has been transformed into a black box space featuring on-stage seating for the audience. This intimate setting creates a close relationship between the actors and audience members as the play moves through hilarious moments to antic sadness.
"Circle Mirror Transformation" runs today and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 2 p.m. Seating is limited due to the design of the set.
Tickets are $7 for adults/$5 for senior citizens and non-RC students.
