Roanoke College kicks off a year of celebration in 2017. This year marks two anniversaries important to the College: the 175^th anniversary of Roanoke College's founding and the 500^th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation.

Dr. Leslie Warden directed a team that traveled to study Kom el-Hism, a settlement in Egypt's Nile Delta. She also served as the ceramicist and archaeologist for the team.
