Alice Keith
Last fall Alice interned at the Rare Book and Special Collections Division of the Library of Congress, then studied spring semester in Lyon, France. Over the summer she was a cultural resources intern at the US Fish and Wildlife Service Headquarters. Now back on campus she is a double major in History and French, completing an Honors Distinction project on book printing in Renaissance France. Graduate school comes next.
Samuel McKnight
Just back from a summer with a Roanoke College course in Stockholm, Sweden, and then teaching English in Bulgaria. Samuel is beginning his sophomore year pursuing majors in International Relations and in Religious Studies. When not hitting the books, he might very well be leading a hike on nearby mountains for the College's Outdoor Adventures Club.
Chelsea Schafer
Chelsea is a senior honors student majoring in Sociology, minoring in Literary Studies, and earning a concentration in Parish Youth Leadership. She serves on the executive of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and coaches the small group leaders. This past summer she administered foster care for her home county, and her Honors Distinction Project is seeking to understand how churches can better serve the deaf community. Graduate school is next in either social work or ministry.
