Xi Theta Chi
Foreign Languages Honor Society Department of Modern Languages
Xi Theta Chi is an active Honor Society and Service Organization which cultivates and fosters an interest in the languages, cultures and civilizations of other countries.
Members of Xi Theta Chi promote and support events and activities which encourage collaboration between students pursuing the study of different languages, literatures, and cultures.

Society membership is by invitation. Students are invited to join in the Spring semester.
To be identified for induction in French, German, or Spanish, students must have completed language studies through the 300 level. To be identified for induction in Chinese, Italian, Japanese, or Russian, students must have completed language through the 202 level, which is the most advanced course currently offered by the College. Certain grade and GPA requirements do apply.
