Kim Blair ’93, vice president for advancement, has been named to Women We Admire’s Top 50 Women Leaders in Virginia for the second year in a row. The list includes women at the top of their professions who have the qualities needed for self-development and organizational success. According to Women We Admire, “these women aren’t afraid of overcoming barriers and breaking the glass-ceiling.”
Blair has served many positions at her alma mater over the years, including director of development, director of annual giving, director of alumni, parent relations and annual programs and development representative, before being named vice president for advancement in 2021. She has more than 28 years of experience working in higher education fundraising at Roanoke College, Ferrum College and Virginia Tech, and she has led many successful campaigns.
“I am sincerely humbled and deeply grateful to be recognized among Women We Admire,” Blair said. “This acknowledgment is not just a personal achievement but a testament to the incredible women who inspire me daily. Gratitude fills my heart, and I share this recognition with all of the remarkable individuals who have shaped my journey.”
