Roanoke back on regular schedule Wednesday

At this time, everything is back on a regular schedule Wednesday. The Wednesday Elderscholar program will be held as scheduled. 

Tuesday, Feb. 16 (updated Tues. 6 am) 

Roanoke College will have a delayed half-day opening.

Half Day Delayed Opening - Administrative offices will open at 1:00 p.m. Classes begin with

Block 11 at 1:10 p.m. The full delayed schedule is available at this link. 

Emergency personnel report to work at regular times. The Dining Commons opens at 10:30 am.

The Elderscholar program scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16 has been canceled. This class will be rescheduled at a later date. A decision will be made on Tuesday regarding Wednesday's Elderscholar program. 

Closed Monday (updated Monday at 5:50 am.) 

Roanoke College will be closed Monday, Feb. 15 due to winter weather. 

While the College is closed, a small dedicated staff from Admissions will be on campus for those Scholars participants who are already in town and would like to come in for their test. Please plan to be in the Admissions office by 8:30 am if possible. Our goal will be to administer the test and get participants on their way quickly and safely.

Scholars Event

Admissions Events Math and Science as well as Scholars Days will be held as scheduled. A make-up date of February 26th has been scheduled for Scholars participants unable to travel due to weather. Families who are canceling are asked to call 540-375-2270 or email admissions@roanoke.edu, and they will be contacted for rescheduling.
