Regular Block Schedule

Blocks 6 and 7, which are overlapping, both begin at 2:20; this arrangement affords an option for a MWF course with hour-long meetings or a MW or WF course with 1½-hour classes.

No classes are scheduled after 3:50 on Friday afternoon and after 7:45 on Tuesday; very limited classes are scheduled Thursday after 7:45. This provides for open blocks for student meetings. Monday and Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:30 would have limited classes scheduled (e.g., labs - which generally would begin at 2:20 on Mon. and Wed. and at 2:50 on Tues. and Thurs. -- and perhaps some special class situations), and also E1 and E3 would have limited offerings of single-section courses, so that additional meeting times could be possible for several groups.

As shown, blocks E5 and E6 overlap with E1 and E2; thus, a student could not take a three-hour evening course on Monday or Wednesday along with courses in either block E1 or E2. (However, the schedule does allow students to take up to four evening courses.)
