Roanoke College will be on a regular schedule Monday, Jan. 25.
Update 5:20 p.m. Saturday:
The RC men's basketball game at Shenandoah University is rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 25 at 5:30 p.m.
Update 5:25 p.m. Friday:
Saturday's men's basketball game at Shenandoah University is canceled. Stay tuned for a rescheduled date.
Update 4:30 pm Friday:
Bingo, scheduled for Friday night, has now been canceled.
A Snow Sculpture Contest is on for Saturday afternoon on the Back Quad.
Thursday 5:15 pm update:
Roanoke College will cancel all classes and close campus offices on Friday, due to a major snowstorm forecast to hit the Roanoke Valley and much of the state through the weekend.
Dining Services has changed its Friday schedule. The Commons will open at 10:30 am for brunch. The Cavern will be closed Friday and Saturday. Fintel Library and some other necessary campus operations will remain up and running for students.
For emergencies, contact the College's Campus Safety Office at 540-375-2310.
The following weekend College events are canceled, and some are rescheduled:
- Friday's opening reception for the Roanoke College Fine Arts Faculty Art Exhibition and Jennie Ruhland's "From the Page to the Stage" exhibition will be rescheduled for next Friday, Jan. 29.
- Saturday's Kandinsky Trio Series: A Trio, Quartet and Quintet concert is canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date.
- The Roanoke College women's basketball game vs. Bridgewater College on Saturday is canceled and rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.
- Roanoke's men's and women's indoor track teams will not compete at Virginia Tech's Hokie Invitational on Friday and Saturday, because the invitational is canceled.
- Sunday's Roanoke Valley Accepted Student Reception, offered through the Admissions Office, has been rescheduled for Sunday, Jan. 31 at 3 p.m.
