Roanoke College’s Model UN and Model Arab League team has been nabbing awards since returning to competition post-pandemic. 

Voting is open now through March 8 for the award, which would recognize a Roanoke College/Department of Homeland Security project that is improving flood detection and warnings on campus. 

Cam McDonald ’24 received the Dean Nancy D. Joyner Award for Most Engaged Student from his peers in the Lutheran College Washington Semester.

The ASIANetwork grant will support a two-week residency that will introduce students to an ancient form of papermaking dating back to the 1st century B.C.E. 

The competition asked students to design an interstellar machine that could be sent into space to further a new age of space discovery.
