Hollins University
More choices, no upcharge
Students can dive into two course catalogs for the price of one with our cross-registration agreement with Hollins University.
The partnership enables students to take up to two courses per semester at the other institution. No heightened fees apply.
That means students can draw on a wider array of classes and the knowledge of two sets of faculty for no additional cost.
FAQ
What are the requirements?
Cross-registration is open to all full-time undergraduate students during fall and spring semesters. Students cannot cross-register for a course that will be offered at their home institution during the same semester.
Requests are capped at two courses per semester. Students must get approval from their advisor or department chair when applying.
How do I apply?
Roanoke College students can request cross-registration by submitting a completed form (Attachment B) to registrar@roanoke.edu. Requests will be granted by Hollins University based on the space available in a course.
Questions about whether a course can be counted toward degree requirements should be discussed with Roanoke College representatives. Students should be mindful that differences in the academic calendars of the two institutions could apply.
