25 ways for alumni to stay connected to Roanoke College

1. Submit a class note to share a new job, promotion, award, retirement, book publication, wedding, new baby, adoption, milestone birthday, mini reunion and more! We want to hear it all! Send these to us at rcmagazine@roanoke.edu.

2. Update your alumni information here.

3. Come home for Alumni Weekend! Next year's will be April 4-6, 2025. Learn more at this address. Make sure your information is up to date (see No. 2) to receive correspondence from us about this event.

4. List Roanoke College as your college on LinkedIn and join the Roanoke College Alumni Association Group. To find the group, simply search for it on LinkedIn. 

5. Attend a campus event, such as a lecture, concert, game, theater performance or Elderscholar. Keep your alumni information updated and watch our event calendarto make sure you never miss a great opportunity!

6. Buy some gear in the online campus store, then wear it and tag RC in a photo.

8. Join or create an alumni interest or affinity chapter. Email alumni@roanoke.edu to learn more.

9. Be a Maroon Mentor and participate in Meet a Maroon to help current students with their future careers. Learn more about Maroon Mentor here and visit this page to learn more about Meet a Maroon, which you can also use to connect with some of our 19,000+ alumni.

10. Add your business to our alumni-owned business directory

11. Get married on campus or request an RC flag for your wedding pictures. Learn more by emailing alumni@roanoke.edu.

12. Send your kid to Roanoke.

13. Live in Virginia? Get the Roanoke College license plate.

14. Donate to a scholarship or create a new one. For more information, email Resource Development.

15. Be active in the Honor Guard to welcome other 50th reunion alumni. Learn more about the Honor Guard here.

16. Email your favorite professor or staff member to say hello and tell them what you're up to. They LOVE to hear from former students!

17. Follow Roanoke College on social media, and tag #roanokecollege in your photos.

18. Tell a high school or community college student about RC. One of our admissions counselors would love to talk to them. Email admissions@roanoke.edu.

20. Buy a paver on campus to be part of our path to success. 

21. Join the Maroon Club to support Maroon athletics and our inspiring student athletes.

22. Join the Roanoke College Associates Society.

23. Participate in the Day of Giving on Nov. 20, 2024, or make a give any day at roanoke.edu/give.
