Virginians favor some ethics reforms and racial balance in redistricting but offer mixed views on gun control efforts

In Virginia, likely Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is tied with Republican hopeful Ben Carson and statistically tied with Marco Rubio, but leads Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, and Ted Cruz. Also, Virginians favor reinstating parole and other criminal justice reforms. 

Among Virginians, likely Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump, but is in a virtual tie with Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and Scott Walker. The RC Poll also looks at controversies around the Confederate Battle Flag and Planned Parenthood.

Virginia Senator Mark Warner has the highest favorable ratings of any statewide elected official. 

More than half of Virginians polled think former Gov. Bob McDonnell did something wrong in his interactions with the CEo of Star Scientific. McDonnell's trial begins next week.
