Out of the Closet Project - Provides free clothing to transgender and non-binary student
Roanoke Diversity Center
Home to a host of support groups, social events and educational programs.
Council of Community Services
Sponsors the Drop In center which offers information on sexual health as well as HIV/AIDS and HEP C testing.
The Roanoke office of Planned Parenthood offers education, resources and services referrals to the LGBTQ community.

The Trevor Project
Founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.

The Human Rights Campaign
HRC is a national organization dedicated to advocating for LGBTQ equality and educating the public about LGBTQ issues. HRC offers a wide variety of resources on topics related to the LGBTQ community and its allies. Resource guides include the Guide to Coming Out.
For over 30 years, GLAAD has been at the forefront of cultural change, accelerating acceptance for the LGBTQ community.
