The Club Sports Assistant is a valuable component within the Club Sports program that is responsible for field setup and breakdown as well as scorekeeping, reporting and inventory.
Hours
4-6 hours per week
Mostly on the weekends but may work and attend meetings during the week
Responsibilities
Be on time and ready to work when scheduled
Setup fields for Club Sports contests and breakdown at its conclusion
Maintain an accurate score and time throughout the competition
Record points, fouls, and any other statistics as assigned
Submit a complete game report, detailing the results
Assist with distributing, tracking and collecting uniform and equipment inventory
Respond to emergency situations according to level of first responder training
Attend regular Club Sports meetings throughout the year
Keep an accurate record of hours worked and submit timesheet when due
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled student in good standing
Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification or willingness to become certified
Prior knowledge of sports scoring and timekeeping methods preferred
