Club Sports Supervisor

Overview

The Club Sports Supervisor is a leader within the Club Sports program who must show a high level of commitment for its success.  The supervisor will manage the club sports coaches and officers and coordinate with the various opponents and leagues in which the clubs compete.

Hours

  • Approximately 10-12 hours per week
  • Typically during the day but may also work evenings and/or weekends

Responsibilities

  • Train, manage, and provide support for all club sports including their coaches and officers
  • Coordinate with the clubs' various leagues to ensure all requirements are met
  • Determine field availability to schedule practices and games for all club sports
  • Communicate with opposing teams, referees, and off-campus facility managers regarding upcoming games
  • Staff competitions with scorekeepers when required
  • Assist club sports officers with budget management
  • Track club sports inventory and procure new equipment as needed
  • Submit marketing requests to promote club sports to the campus community
  • Uphold the integrity of the program by applying appropriate disciplinary actions as necessary
  • Respond to emergency situations according to the level of first responder training
  • Keep an accurate record of hours worked and submit timesheet when due
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be a currently enrolled student in good standing
  • Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification or willingness to become certified
  • Ability to acquire a detailed knowledge of league requirements
  • Exceptional communication and proven leadership skills
  • Prior experience in coordinating and/or managing sports preferred
