Marketing Staff

Overview

The Marketing Assistant, reporting to the Marketing Manager, is a valuable component on the Marketing team that is responsible for distributing the marketing efforts for Campus Recreation programs as well as assisting in the creation of marketing materials.

Hours

  • Approximately 6-8 hours per week
  • Typically during the day but may work evenings and/or weekends

Responsibilities

  • Be on time and ready to work when scheduled
  • Be on site for various Campus Recreation programs to photograph and document events
  • Assist in creating attractive and accurate publications while completing projects on time
  • Distribute marketing materials including posters, table tents, RCTV, and the Brackety-Ack
  • Update the Campus Recreation website and social media accounts as needed
  • Attend regular Marketing staff meetings
  • Keep an accurate record of hours worked and submit timesheet when due
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be a currently enrolled student in good standing
  • Experience using Apple computers and software including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Knowledge and ability in graphic design
  • Effective communication skills
